Business platform analyst will work closely with Sales Department and Information Technology Leadership to ensure that business objectives, business platforms and technical architecture are met in a timely manner. This individual will oversee development efforts and have the ability to coach and mentor team members to ensure personal and professional successes are met. The Sales Platform Analyst will provide technical documentation as well as implement and enforce development standards and practices.

Essential Functions

Provide creative sales initiatives for the business platforms in conjunction with marketing staff. Work with Information Technology Leadership to establish development and deployment standards and to ensure adherence to technology platform decisions made by the Development and Architecture team. Be a vocal advocate for technical excellence and help your team make good decisions. Enforce best practices and common standards across all systems. Participate in systems reviews and documentation reviews. Participate in strategy and feature discussions with Product Management. Estimate and plan future developments and releases based on the innovation and business technology roadmaps. Ensure successful and on-time delivery of software that meets commitments from design through to release. Communicate status, risks, and offer mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery of all committed sprints and projects to high-level management. Work with IT Development, Security Information staff to define implementation plans, ensure production support is available as required and to define and implement best practice with regard to production system administration. Identifies indicators and interpret data, to correct, identify trends and draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations. Manage project as assigned. Establish KPIs and develop metrics reporting within our enterprise-wide information system.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Computer or Industrial Engineering or Business Administration preferably with a major in Systems Information, with one (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or Associate Degree or 60 to 64 college credit with five (5) years of related experience. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferable.

Ability in conflict resolution, execute quickly but with minimal risk to the business. A strong desire to dive into technical issues and provide reasonable directives on problem resolution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and data architecture best practices. Passionate and obsessive about quality, efficiency and the customer.
